For what it's worth I offer my apologies. I was worried something like this would result. Perhaps we should get inked as punishment.

I'm in the dumb and gullible club, but obviously didn't help the situation either.

Can't do anything about the vacation time, but I'll cover the artists fee and cover for next week. Shoot me a pm and we'll right as much of it as possible.

Pete/ Kuri - I ain't mad.... You all got me good and I'm very impressed. I've got to bow down to the king. You all really had me going good.

To set the record straight..... I did NOT visit my tat shop and I have not spent any money. We're cool. Like I mentioned in an earlier post, I've been known to pull some pranks in my day, but in this virtual world it's so hard to tell how someone is taking something and how to know when you've went to far that I don't want to carry this out too far.

In short, I'm NOT mad , I have NOT spent any money, and I must bow down before the ultimate jokester: A very nice prank Mr. DiamondPete, I only hope I made you sweat a little in return.

Terry you are one great guy for not immediately thinking that murder charges would be justified. I still don't think Pete will ever be able show his face in Des Moines but I applaud you ability to be a man about this.

Now that ended better than I could have expected! Thank goodness! If there wasn't a message from GR this morning I was headed straight to my doctor for anxiety meds!

I would like to quote a very astute writer: "With friends like these who needs enemas?" Source (#2).

Terry..I knew you wouldn't be able to string this along for too much time Good job though...maybe he sweat just a little. I'm glad everything is ok, because I was worried about you. You are such a good guy to take things in stride (not that I didn't know that about you already). But you are taking them better than I. Cause I think I would have been on that plane!

LMAO!

Terry, that is good to hear. I'd wondered if you'd caught on at some point. It didn't occur to me at the time, but given Pete's disposition, I should have pm'd you to tell you so that you could have scammed the scammer a bit sooner and played it out more, along with bleeding, infection risk, ER visit, etc. But, you still did good! LOL

EDIT: I just read TG's post. You TOLD him, didn't you, TG? C'mon, admit it!

No Chris...I didn't know what Peter was doing. He got me too! Which is why I was ready to get on a plane and kick his ass for doing that to Terry. In fact, I'm not entirely sure I still won't do that.

Thank you Terry.

Thank you for being a great sport. This little prank could have turned sour (as I mentioned I think I waited a bit too long and for that I do apolgize again), but only your good sense of humor kept things straight.

I would have posted earlier, but I just got home from work (it is now midnight). For those of you with a sense of justice, I was sweating it when Terry responded with only "." in his post. I checked back repeatedly until I had to work out of the office. I was not that worried about him having lasered it off, (unlikely logistically), but more that he was really upset.

Terry, you could have let me sweat some more, (turn around certainly would have been fair play at this). When I saw your post about that Tattoo consultation, I thought that the $120 bucks I had to send you was the least of my problems.

You certainly could have made me sweat more, and it would have been well deserved.

That is where you are mistaken. It is I that must bow down to the ultimate gentleman and good sport.

I hope that I will catch up to you at a fitness sumit and that you will let me buy you a bunch of beers.

Cheers and thanks again,

Peter

PS. Gobbla that was very noble of you to step up to the plate for my debt (especially when you were not in on it), but it certainly would have been MY bill to pay.

Wow, I hadn't check this thread since the original posts by diamondpete about it being wrong Kanji. All I have to say is wow. This thread is awesome. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. This place is awesome.

As for terry, I am really glad you took this alright. I was worried this was going to be a really shitty turn of events!

This has to be one of the funniest threads ever. I've pulled some practical jokes in my day but this was entirely masterful, both Peter's setup and Terry's revenge.

You know, Terry, you could have had not just Gobbla's $$ but the whole group of us taking up a collection for you! Thanks for being such a good sport.

And Peter... paybacks are hell, man.

How'd I miss this thread??? I just read all 7 pages. At 1st, I was a little suspicious of Pete and Kuri with the whole "Rear Entry" thing. But when they went on for 5 more pages over the course of 4 days, I was convinced. This thread was like a trainwreck. Terry's response was just as impressive as the original joke.

Nice work, guys.

Seriously I was about to get the checkbook out when I got a PM from Terry.

He had me going there!

There were several (like me) who knew about the joke. You can equally blame me for not stopping the "messing."

Just don't make it quite as equal, please.

All of my friends must live by that rule, because they all know it doesn't take much to push mine. They LOVE to get me going. Although, it's ok, it means they love me..hehe.

Well, I am glad you enjoyed yourself (except for the last day when I was starting to feel guilty) I had a grand ole time.

But seriously, do you mind if I ask you a "semi-personal" question in this forum?
