I have a co-worker at work that is my friend out side of work... She is really a nice person and doesnt mean any harm but she down talks me at work she doesnt give the proper respect to the proper people. So its not just a me thing out side of work.
Well today she kept on calling me something improper and after it she goes SHUT UP (BAM smack in the arm)
I asked her to stop doing this several times and she did get "corrected" for it by a superior officer ..(not me)
Well here is the am i wrong part.
She did it to me 4x this morning alone (her arms are metal rods bad car accident) and I have a bruise already on my arm from where she hits me lol
I have a pic of her waisted at a bar and its a bad pic at that... i blew it up and posted it on her myspace.
How confusing...I was always under the impression that Myspace's purpose was for posting drunk pics!
Seriously, though... If she annoys (and injures) you with the slaps on the arm and the unprofessional behaviour, let her know. I like Roland's idea of a note. If she is actually forced to read it, it might sink in a little better. You also may want to ask your boss or someone in human resources what would be the appropriate way to gently tell someone that they're annoying, while still making your point very clear.

you're doing the entire world a service. there are plenty of folks with disabilities that don't go around hitting people. her parents obviously failed at some point. so that leaves it to you to correct were her momma left off.
