This is my first official monthly picture post. From now on I will be posting on the first Tuesday of the month. This will give me a little more time and some incentive to get out there and take some new pictures.
I'll start out with my recent (and very short) trip to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden.
I apologize for any slow loading of the pictures or "Picture not found" messages. My photo host is having some issues right now. If any of the pictures don't show up, refresh and try again.
Those are some awesome pictures Paul. I really love the colors. It puts me at peace, Thanks Paul. The one of the lattice is really interesting too. I really look forward to your pictures on tuesday mornings.

"I don't mind at all," I said. "It doesn't matter who you are or what you look like so long as somebody loves you."
Kodachrome
They give us those nice bright colors
They give us the greens of summers
Makes you think all the world's a sunny day, Oh yeah
I got a Nikon camera
I love to take a photograph
So mama don't take my Kodachrome away
Everytime I hear the song, I think of these posts. Every Tuesday, I think of the song. Figured I might as well post some of the lyrics.
Thanks everyone!
And a special thanks to LD for the musical interlude.
I am glad I had the chance to capture some of the fall colors before all the leaves were gone. Last weekend we had some pretty major rain storms that took down a good amount of the leaves that were left.
I did not get out on Sunday to take pictures of the Marathon.
I was actually in OldGuy's territory on Saturday night for dinner.
Anyone passing through Queens looking for a place to eat, I highly recommend Lenny's Clam Bar.
Thanks for your continued efforts posting your work, Paul. It's one of the threads I really look forward to seeing. Now that it's monthly, the anticipation will be even greater! :p (How's that for pressure? ) I really like the first one with the fall colours and the bridge - beautifully framed. I agree with Bob that the lock one is very interesting too.
