Default Lost Dog!

What aircraft are you standing next to?

I'm thinking a WWII vintage craft and thought it a B-17 or P-51, because of the silver fuselage, but I'm not sure.

Perhaps a P-47 (my fav to fly)?

Feels like a "I can name that aircraft in three feet."

I'm not really sure. It's a jet, though, with the engine running down the center fuselage. You can see it in the background, below.

I don't know if that's enough to go on.

looks Korean War era. The picture didn't copy, but it also had the yellow band. F-86. What every boy from my era thinks a jet fighter ought to look like, same with early corvettes.

Now it is. Dang, I was way off. I didn't consider a Sabre.

RobLL, the one game I played that had an F-86 was too fricking hard. The speed caused really high G turns and the game didn't allow for much higher than 3 Gs before blacking out.

The game was geared toward WWII aircraft anyway. I sure would like to find a good WWII sim the modeled accurately.

Never did care much for missiles.
