I've been drinking a lot of Lipton Diet Green Tea with Citrus (or something like that). I know it's not soda but I drink soda over water for convenience and flavor and this provides both. Plus, you get the benefits of green tea!
When I need a little caffiene, I've been drinking Diet Pepsi with Lime in lieu of Diet Coke with Lime. I've really been losing my taste for Coke lately and would like to get off the soda habit but not bad enough to just go ahead and do it!
but have you tried coke with splenda? I swear it tastes just like non-diet coke.
Must be different taste buds. I think the splenda coke tastes nasty, but that the coke zero takes closest to regular coke. But I do like dietrite (with splenda).
Diet dew, diet Dr. Peppers (regular one, and the berry/cherry ones), and diet A&W are all my other favs. And diet coke is OK. And Pepsi One was really good; is that still out?
But I've been laying off all of them recently. Wondering about the sweeteners.
I like La Croix sparkling water in a can. Lemon or plain is my fav, but lime is good too. No sodium either, and it satisfies the carbonated need in hot weather. Have a hard time finding it around here, though

We have plenty of that stuff up here. I'd drive down a uhaul full for you, but there'd have to be one hell of a kiss for a reward.
So I went out and purchased some of the Black Cherry Fresca. I was pleasantly surprised. Thanks for the suggestion,JP. I'm not even a big black cherry fan. It doesn't have quite the "bite" that regualr Fresca seems to have.

No problem! Happy to help. Mix a full can of it with a shot of seagram's vodka in a frozen mug and you will have had your first official :PEEJ!
I drink the following almost every day, in this order:
Coke Zero (tastes better than diet coke w/splenda imo)....mid-morning snack
Diet Coke w/Lime....lunch
Diet Wild Cherry Pepsi.....lunch, with a piece of darck chocolate
Fresca (original only, peach and black cherry taste like ass, also imo)...afternoon snack
Sometimes also a Caffiene Free Diet Pepsi later.

Diet Coke with Splenda is good. It's sweet, and better than regular Diet Coke, but damn, Coke Zero kicks it's ass. Absolutely amazing taste. The best no cal pop out there. (Yes, it's pop.)
Diet Pepsi is the best of the regular diet colas, while Diet Dr. Pepper is pretty damn good too.
I drink anywhere from 40-100 oz. of diet pop a day. So I have tried anything and everything. I'm addicted.

I don't get the Coke Zero thing. Tastes just like regular Diet Coke to me. Diet Coke with Splenda is quite different. Pepsi One is okay, but I prefer Diet Pepsi.
Strangely, I prefer Diet Coke from the fountains and Diet Pepsi in cans/bottles.

Too bad non-diet coke dosen't taste a thing like regular coke.
This is easily my least favorite diet coke beverage. EASILY.
I'm with eMartin, Diet Dr. Pepper wins hands down on flavor. I also like Coke Zero as well.
Og.

I rarely drink soft drinks. Coke products always seem to be overly carbonated. When I do drink a soda, it's usually caffiene free diet Pepsi. But, I used to love Dr. Pepper, so I will have to give the diet brand a try.

Diet Pepsi Vanilla is what got me to drink diet pops. I love this stuff!
My fear is that now that Coke has apparently abandoned Vanilla Coke (and its diet counterpart), Pepsi will soon follow. (Okay, this is a digression, but has anyone noticed how often Pepsi knocks Coke in its advertising, but doesn't Coke almost always introduce new flavors and then Pepsi just apes them?)
