Football: Northwestern University Wildcats - GO CATS!
Baseball: Chicago Cubs (suffering my whole life Bartmans plunges the knife even deeper)
Hockey: huh? (Wertz, owner of the Blackhawks doesn't broadcast local games on TV ---> meaning no fan base----> meaning he doesn't fill seats. Dumbass.)
Basketball: ask me in another 2 years (the Bulls will rise again!)
Cycling: Discovery Channel Team (between Danielson and Popovych, a solid team that should have a good chance of podiuming in the great races)
Teams I DISLIKE: Packers (with envy for their fan-owned team and Favre), White Sox (with jealousy), Yankees (with disdain), Notre Dame (well run program, but fans are obnoxious here in Chicagoland)

The only pro sports that I'll generally watch are hockey and tennis, but occasionally I'll check out some soccer or such, if I'm bored and channel surfing (don't watch too much TV either).
This being said, for someone who also went to NU, I never actually set foot in the stadium or watched a Wildcats' game
You are all the poorer for it too. :p Well, just goes to show the difference between an NU (where students get in for free and still stay home to study) and LSU, Michigan, or the vast collection of other 'football factories' where all that 'facny ciphering [education] just gets in the way.
Forgot to add soccer: always liked Germany and Brazil. Two vastly different styles of play, yet both entertaining in their own way.
Chris - never was a Card hater. I don't like them, but I dislike the ChiSox more. Speaking of which, still my favorite shirt:
Ok, so I'll clarify further, as this has far more letters than a typical postwhore post around here
For some reason, given that I don't like football, waking up early on a Sat after partying Friday night to go do something I don't enjoy really didn't seem worthwhile to me Now if NU had a hockey team that played right by campus, you might have seen me there.
And yeah, I graduated, but it didn't take me that long; that guy that's in his 13th year just broke my own record

Ack! I forgot to put in Danica!!!! Everyone should know that though.
FYI: For those casual fans out there that may tune in next weekend to watch the Indy 500, she has no chance in hell of winning that race unless the Ganassi and Penske cars wreck each other.

Baseball - any team, game, anywhere. I root for the Brew Crew (Brewer's), the Tigers (I'm originally from MI), and NY Yankees (my son was named after Joe DiMaggio.
Football - I have to root for the Packers, I live in Wisconsin, it's the law.
Basketball - Don't watch it, nor do I care to. Played a lot when I was younger, no interest in the athletes or the teams.
