Hot Wings!!

We have a restaraunt called Beauregard's which has the best wings you can ask for. I'm pretty sure they're half of the reason I gained weight during college.

Why you people keep making these threads is beyond me. The "vices" thread had me craving junk food bad enough without making a thread designated solely to food! Arrrrrg! I pass by a place that sells Reece's PB cups on my way out of the office today too. Let this be a lesson to me to procrastinate from my job by reading threads withOUT junk food in the title. :P

I make some damn good brownies, not that like cheap outta the box stuff, real brownies from scratch. I'll make those and just cut a huge piece and smother it with peanut butter. Those are addicting.

Well BFG, if it's low calorie and virtually fat free, I can't see how it can even remotely taste like the real thing.

OK, let's have itll!

Roxi's Midnight Sauce

330 cals per batch -90 if you use the sweetner
Ingredients:
25g cocoa powder
60g brown sugar
2 tsp cornflour
240 ml water
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
Method
1) Stir together cocoa powder , sugar, if using and cornflour
2) add water and heat over medium heat stirring constantly with whisk
3) Heat until mixture comes to boil then cook for a further minute to thicken
You must keep stirring the mixture or it may catch and burnon base of pan
Allow to coool slightly then add sweetner if using and vanilla essence and stir
Variations:
add 4 tsp instant coffee for bitter chocolate sauce, use peppermint instead of vanilla, add ginger and cinamon the list is endless
Lasts: 1 week chilled

Some great tips for using it: sliced fresh fruit dipped into it kind of like a fondue, or add it to well hung fat free youghurt you will only need a few teaspoons as its pretty rich

Favorite junkfood...

Ice-cream. Hands down.

Currently klondike ice-cream bars.

Other favorite sweet things that I am trying to eat....

Mangos, frozen chunked mango.
Dates. Not as forgiving as the mangos but tastes soo goods.

Og.

Just about anything chocolate -- especially a brownie topped with chocolate ice cream and hot fudge sauce. But next on the list is almost anything else loaded with carbs and sugar: cookies, cakes, pies, doughnuts, etc, etc.
