Job Saved & I Should Be Happy-But

For those that read my previous post about me losing my job due to our office closing, well now it's not...

The state PUC sued AT&T and now the company is keeping us open. Gov. Rendel is going to be here today to take credit for this I guess.

This all should be good news but being that I hate this job and I was offered a Caddie job at a very nice resort, I was ready to take my 1 yr severnce and enjoy the summer doing something I was really excited about. So I'm feeling a little !!!

Oh man! I knew how psyched you were about the severence and the summer caddie job. Why can't some peeps just their big fat noses in their own business! I feel for ya bro!

Yeah I guess your right but the timing of the original closing worked out perfect for this new job, and I would still have benefits for 1 1/2 yrs and a full years pay. And did I metion I HATE THIS PLACE!!!

I guess I need to think about the others here that are very happy. But there are others that this really messed up their plans. One lady on my team originaly moved here form Texas 4 yrs ago when AT&T closed an office there. She already took her children out of school here and moved then back to Tx, they still own a house there that was being rented out and now they have already stopped renting it so they can move into it. She has also already move the majority of her funiture back to TX. There are others that agreed to stay with the company and move to the office in Lee Summit MO. Now what are they to do? They have already arranged to rent apts. and will probally lose large security deposits..
