Gift idea for the lady at my son's daycare

It's her birthday today. I am quite friendly with her and was thinking if a bouquet of white flowers would be good. I came to know about it when I went to drop of Jeet in the morning. So something casual will also be good. Any ideas?

what about a flowering plant? it'll live longer and it's a little more casual.

We're called teachers! Well unless it's strictly a "daycare", in any case...how about:
- Flowers
- Small Gift card to a bookstore (teachers love em)
- A bottle of wine (doesn't have to be expensive at all)

Thanks Keith.. Alcohol in India is not a very favoured gift option. Yeah.. I know she will love a gift card to bookstore, but I need to arrange that before evening today.. Let me rush during lunchtime to see if I can find some good bookstore.

It is a daycare but she does more than just taking care. She engages kids in many activities, tells them stories and plays with them. So yeah.. she is more than just a daycare lady and I respect her immensely. But she is not a teacher or does not have a teachers degree which is a must to qualify as a teacher. But believe me she is much better than those qualified teachers I come across.

I'm probably too late but maybe bath oil beads or something else to relax after a long day with active childern.

Here the daycare professionals have a CEGEP degree.. that's 3 years of college after highschool. very qualified but not the same as teachers. They are terribly underpaid though.
