I was waiting for my brother today to meet me in lower Manhattan, and got bored so I decided to take some pics, hope you guys enjoy:
I walk by these buildings all the time and never really took the time to stop and notice them. Most of the time while on vacation I notice the buildings and things like that where I'm visiting, and I always think about how shitty home is, but I realized that there ARE nice buildings where I'm from, and I should appreciate them more. I take living here for granted, and I think it's nice to stop/slow down and think about the things you appreciate.
Out of curiosity, Where do they put it all? Upstate?
BTW guys, great pics. NYC is such a cool looking place. I've only driven through it a couple of times, never stopped to do anything. A shame, too. I have an aunt and uncle that live in Manhattan.
This year we had 3 days where the temperature went into the 50's right after the snow, so a lot of it melted. A few years ago when we had a bad storm they were loading the snow into large dump trucks and actually dumping it into the river.
That area where Keith posted is a great place to walk around in. But then again all of Manhattan is. So many great neighborhoods, all very different, on one considerably small island.
holy sh*t!!!
