Finally some good news to report!

The transfer to vBulletin was successful. We recouped over 100,000 posts that had been dropped, and ALL of the previous users made the transfer, with the exception of user #313 (don't know who that is, but I assume it was someone who I deleted). The forum is up and I have been in it since last night just browsing around, occassionally posting to test features and trying to teach myself the new control panel, which is completely different than the UBB cpanel.

There are still a couple of steps that need to occur before I re-aim the DNS to the new forums. First, I am going to transfer all of the posts made SINCE 1/14/6, then I have to do a little duplicate posts pruning. I also have to select a new "skin" for the forum. Right now I am just using the default skin.

So Mahler, Lou, TS, Keith, and others will have their old profiles back. Once all of this is official, then I will send out an email. The address will still be forums.jpfitness.com but the /threads.php part will change, so you will all need to change your bookmarks one more time. This will be the final change as it was actually successful, and the software MUCH more stable.

I know that it's been a hassle... Thanks for your patience so far. Just a couple more days and we'll be there! [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
