I don't know if she has enough of an athletic build to pull off Laura Croft. Not that the character has anything to do reality. But I think a better fit would be someone more like the Biotest Farenheit model.

The new Croft looks soft. Not convincing at all that she's an agile, athletic, ass kickin' hottie. She's too skinny too. Looks clumsy, with a soft middle to boot.

Nope... I wouldn't have a problem with the lady in the photos if she was wearing a swimsuit or something. She's attractive, just not athletic looking. Her muscles look like she was raised in a veal pen... Nice and soft. Croft is supposed to be built like a jungle cat... A steel compressed steal coil straining to lash out. The new girl looks like she could hit me in the face as hard as she can and break one of those delicate looking forarms, while I brush it off like a mosquito bite.

I gotta kinda agree with JP, and take it one step further. Mitra and Jolie have an edgier look to them that makes them more believable -- more angular features to the face and a more athletic look as well.
