Just so you all know though, my consultant has been working on this from his vacation. This is taking so much longer than I would have ever expected. I don't even want to tell you how much trying to fix this has cost me so far... Or what it will cost in the end when it is finally fixed. Thinking about it makes me want to cry.
They need to add ME to that prayer request!

Honestly, JP, why are you having to pay extra because they screwed up?
Re: Good grief! The news about Mahler\'s forum problems is out of control..
Ninja,
3 seperate sets of experts have wrestled with this, and most of them don't work by the project, but by the hour.
It's not really their fault... The old flatfile format had corrupted files, and the UBB code sucks in general. Last week I sunk yet even more money into buying a vBulletin lisence, and hired a new expert to come in and clean up the old backup and convert it to the new platform. He's run into numerous problems as well, and coordinating him with the original hosts and my arizona hosts has been a nightmare of biblical proportions. My new consultant lives in Hawaii, so time zones make it challenging. Plus, programmers are not really all that social, and getting them in discussions together is like pulling teeth!
Like I said, I need to be on a prayer list myself. I have seriously lost sleep over this damn project. Lots of it.
