Default Are the people at your gym illiterate and/or inconsiderate?

Here's the situation: Mr. Gym Rat finishes his set and now it's time to rack the weight. The first plate off will be a 10 pounder. Where does it go?

You didn't leave an option for 10 lb.

I would say at my gym the most popular choice is the spindle for 25 pound plates, followed by "I don't re-rack my weights."

This just frustrates the hell out of me. Am I overreacting? Is it really THAT hard to pay attention to the weight of the plate in your hand and match it up to the spindle you put it on?

That was a little joke on my part. It was completely intentional.

The question wasn't so much "What do you do" (as we all know everyone here is a considerate gym-goer and puts the weights back in their proper places!) but "What do most other people do".

Sorry for the confusion.

That is why I feel so lucky to have a set up in my basement. It doesn't have everything that a gym has, but I only have to put up with myself.
