God help us - what have the clubhouse members done to this beautiful thread? Bastards!

Thanks to shark for trying to bring back the spirit of the thread.

OK, it's not my b-day for a bit, but I need to get these old posts up here just to clean out the jorts image from my head. For the love of God, why did they post that jorts pic? Why??

Sorry; I didn't remember that the guy in the middle had a gut. I just saw three dudes, and so I then listed three names. All people who wear jorts are interchangeable.

(Memo to self: Wear jorts to summit, to be cool like John and Rob. )

JJ very cute pics looked like both of you were having a good time. It must be great to have a younger sister to do all those kids things with again. I was lucky enough to be able to do several fairs and amusement parks with my niece and nephew before they grew up. Now they are 19 and 22,pretty soon we will end up clubbing together, that's scarry.

Looks like you had fun (again) G! Did you only go to the Magic Kingdom? And yeah, how come kids are on their best behavior at WDW? It must be because it is 'the happiest place on earth'! lol.

yeah, liv and i went to the magic kingdom while my dad and step mom went to epcot- we met up with them later at epcot for dinner so we got to do "soarin" which was pretty cool! i think she was on her best behavior because we were there one on one --- whereas when we went to universal the next day we went w/ my brother and parents and she was a holy terror cause she knew that my parents would give in to her. (which they did- while i sat there and told her that if she wasn't going on peter pan with me, i wasn't going on the country bears with her so she gave in)

How was 'Soaring'? They were testing it when we were there last year - it was supposed to be a phenomenal new ride. Did you get to Epcot at all to see the interactive 'Turtle Talk with Crush' at the Oceans Pavilion? That was one of my favorites!

soaring was alright, i really don't see what was so amazing that people waited in line for hours for it (my dad had gotten us fast passes). i like mickey's philharmagic better (as far as rides that don't actually go anywhere but that make you feel as though you're part of the action) -- you can watch the same thing on the discovery/travel channel at home in your pj's. we didn't make it to see crush because by that point olivia and i were dead and i hadn't gotten a second wind yet. i really want to drag my friends down to disney with me cause we didn't do mgm (i love the 50's diner) or animal kingdom- but we'll see - maybe after italy next summer.

You're finally going to Italy? Sweet. That's disappointing about Soaring. They were really hyping it up when we were there. Did your parents get to ride the Mission to Mars? Our younger one was too young for the only ride with barf bags at WDW. I love MGM too and our kids, suprisingly, really enjoyed it (even more than Magic Kingdom, but then they are boys who probably like the action/adventure stuff more than the fairy tale stuff).

my dad is claustrophobic (sp) so when they strapped him into mission to mars he freaked out and had to get off the ride before it even started! i dunno if liv's been to mgm but that's exciting that your boys loved it - i'll have to drag her there next time. yep! my graduation and christmas present this year from my parents is an all expenses paid (cept shopping of course) 3 week trip to itlay next summer. my nonna is going to come, and a bunch of other family members so it'll be fun and hectic to say the least!

What are you going to do? Yell out of the minivan window? I'm sure that will get her attention.
