I just got an e-mail message alerting me in the title line that a nonrepairable virus has been detected by Symantec in an e-mail I sent.I opened the message and found that my supposed e-mail had been sent to Robert Duffield. I don’t know anyone by that name. I checked with my son, who owns a graphics design studio. He got several such messages yesterday. Apparently there’s a virus bouncing around that affects e-mail. My son and I both use Macs, which are immune, but he advised me not to send the same message simultaneously to multiple recipients, many of whom probably have PCs and use Windows, as this may spread the virus.
