Bet that got your attention!
My wife and I attended a high school basketball game because our daughter was singing the National Anthem. She did well and we were proud of her. As we were leaving, my wife asked me if I enjoyed the cheerleaders as they were stationed in front of where we were sitting. I told her that I was trying to ignore them because they were JV and Varsity cheerleaders which meant they were anywhere from about 14 y/o to 17 y/o and I didn't want to enjoy them too much. Having teenage daughters spoils everything!

So true, but as your daughters get older you have fewer and fewer women to appreciate!

Angry

I hear ya, man. My rule of thumb is not to mess with anyone younger than my brother (five years my junior). However, I will be brutally honest when I say: while I was teaching high school last school year for tenth and eleventh graders, there were quite a few that looked like they should've been in college or beyond.

Unhappy

I dread those days. It is painful enough just having young beautiful women around that you know can't even see you because you are too old. Welcome to a day in my life at my gym. Now they just fall all over themselves to see Josh (my head trainer).

My daughter is only 3, and she is daddy's little girl right now. I am going to enjoy these days while I can because tomorrow she will be wanting to go out on dates, borrow the car, or borrow money. In some ways I wish I could just freeze this era of my life.

If wishes were horses...And besides, my friend, remember: in Faust, the moment of his damnation would be when he said to the passing moment, the fleeting experience--"Stay, for thou art fair."

Also, the dating and car-borrowing stage passes like the childhood of a gnat. Next come the grandkids and you'll be gran-pere Jaypee.
