I don't know what it is, since we haven't had our share of snow this winter in Chicago, but I'm sick of it. I used to like cold weather. Maybe it is a sign of my aging, but it is freakin' cold now. Here's the forecast for Tuesday: 30° colder than 24 hrs earlier. Mixed sun, stinging NW winds. Thermometer readings hold to single digits for only the second time this season. Wind chills reach no higher than -9° to -22°. Clouding over Thursday night, blustery. Snow late. Breezy. Temps drop to near 0° then rise to 6° by sunrise Friday.

No higher than -9. Rise to 6 degrees. Great. If you've never experienced cold this, well, cold, when you walk outside, the snot literally starts freezing in your nose. I'm not kidding.

Thumbs up

Go to weather.com , type 75214 in the zip code box, and see how cold it is here.
