Great movies, but...

Several movies just out are wonderful, mature, grown-up fare about friendships and family. The Station Agent, about friendship, terrific.
Calendar Girls, ditto. In America, about family and friendship, very moving.

But one of the previews is of another movie that lie Calendar Girls stars Helen Mirren. Her husband, though....He looked kinda familiar. I thought, maybe the older brother of...Robert Redford.

Intimations of mortality creep up and down my spine....

Then I got it. It WAS Robert Redford.

Sounds like a Chick flick. Not, that there is anything wrong w/ that. Currently, I am single
. So I won't be seening that type of movie anytime soon.

I am already starting to understand what you are talking about just at the young age of 35! News casters are younger than me. Singers and rock stars are younger than me. Famous adult actresses who seem so mature and grown up, like Catherine Zeta Jones are YOUNGER than me! And the musicians I really liked as a teenager are now being played on "classic rock" stations. When did this happen? I am finally coming to grips with the fact that I am no longer 18!
