I was digging in a closet last night for some luggage and ran across these old pics from my modeling days. I thought I'd share them with y'all.
I was about 19 when this picture was taken.
The babe in this pic was a Miss Ohio hopeful. I'm pretty sure she'd already been crowned Miss Northwest Ohio at the time of the pic. I was 18.
These next 2 pics are actually what started my modeling career. I was 16 and went to pick my sister up at the modeling agency after her shoot. I was wearing this outfit and her agent wanted to take a few shots of me for her portfolio.
This is my mom's favorite....

You have started doing squats since then, correct?

I was gonna guess "Dance Hall Days" era.
I was thinking more along the lines of his Simon Le Bon era. You look as though you were about to break into a rendition of 'The Reflex'
Seriously, though, good pics. I was modelling pocket calculators and protractors at that time, although no one was taking pictures of me......
Wow - you were an incredibly good looking young man, Bond. What happened?
j/k
Seriously, nice pics. You certainly have put on some muscle since then.

She was actually like 20. Female models typically looked A LOT older than they really are, especially when they're younger.
Ahh, yes, I remember some of Becka's modeling pics that she posted. She was 15 in the pics but could have easily passed for 28. Scary.

Oh yeah, and tons of it, too!! Ugh! But, it was also one hell of a perm, too. About every 6 weeks or so, I'd spend 3-4 hours getting my hair colored, permed, toned, and cut. And, I'd drop around $150 bucks to boot. My hairstylist today thinks that all that did some serious damage to my scalp which is why I'm suffering from hair loss.
Otherwise, it used to take me about an hour to get ready in the mornings and that didn't include my shower or brushing my teeth....

The straight look suited you way better, dude. Too bad you spent all that time and money on perms - you could have afforded a gym membership otherwise.

LMAO!!! Well, when you're bringing in $150-$250 for an hour of modeling, the hair treatments were nothing. Not to mention that I was trying to remain thin on purpose.

No, I don't mind you asking, but it's LOOOOOONG story, so let's just suffice it to say that I was sexually molested a few times by that stage of my life (all by men) and was questioning my sexuality because of all this, a child of parents who divorced when I was 18 mos old and fought continually, my father had just left my step-mom while I was living with them leaving me wondering where I was going to live, and then was told that I couldn't go back to college which I viewed as my ONLY way to get out from the hell I'd been raised in for the previous 19 years of my life. Needless to say, I suffered a "mental break" -- one serious "mental break" and made my first "serious" attempt.
Yeah, I think that about covers all of it in one nice, neat package.

Yeah, I was diagnosed with bi-polar disorder and VERY close to being diagnosed with multiple personalities. You see, I had one personality with my dad's family, one personality with my mom's family, and one personality with my friends. My team of shrinks helped me to "find myself" in all of the chaos and actually get me turned around into a rather productive, albeit some times unstable, human being.
Hence part of the reason why I'll living out eternity in the 7th Level of Hell!!!

Ok, you asked for it! These are all VERY recent pics....from last night actually. I'm currently 180 with 10.6% body fat, and as you can see, it's all around the lovehandle/oblique area. But, I'm still cutting.
Please keep your vegies to yourselves!!!

Yes, he is working very hard at it, and I wish him all the luck and success in the world. It's very tough industry and you've got to have an extremely tough skin to work in it and survive it, mentally & emotionally.
