Keith, i am a fruit! Jack russells are psychopathic badasses! When I get older and have a place of my own, I want to adopt an aging golden or lab so jake has a playmate.

I'm trying to talk her into a dog, but she says it's got to be a small one if any.

Thats exactly what he is doing. He LOVES to duck and goose hunt and is very willing to jump his 90 lbs into the freezing water to retrieve. His name is Goose and he lives outside in the yard. He doesn't know the rabbit lives in the garage or I am sure that he would be a rabbit hunter as well.
The rabbit (Mr Feets) is very aware of Goose and is wants absolutely nothing to do with him! By the way, the rabbit only weighs around 2 lbs and fits in the palm of my hand.
I love cats, and currently have two. I'll work on getting some pics sometime. My parents have always had dogs (currently have 3 dogs and 4 cats), so I'm used to them, but at the moment I don't mind not having a dog because it's significantly less work.
I used to love to duck hunt when I lived in western KY, and used to train labs many years ago. It looks like flooded timber. I bet Goose knows something is going on in the garage. If it runs from it, a good lab will chase it.
There is no doubt in my mind that Goose would chase Mr Feets. They have only been in the garage together on one occassion. Feets was in his cage and Goose sniffed the cage for about 10 seconds before moving on to other things to sniff. Feets just sat VERY still in his cage. I honestly don't think Goose realized that the animal he was smelling was actually in the cage. Plus, Goose was really excited to explore the whole garage and check out all the other smells, since he hardly ever gets to be in there! After I learned that rabbits can have heart attacks, I decided not to expose them to one another again!

John...you just need to stop rubbing that beautiful scenery in everyone's faces though!
If it makes you feel any better, while most of you were curled up in your warm bed at home saturday night, I was freezing my ass off in a tent in 2 feet of snow
