The big question everyone has is, can you use spinners with them.

Now if you drove with your Nike Shox, you would be stylin'. It looks like if an object, such as a rock or mud, got in the tire, balance would be an issue.
Ummmm, I take it nobody from north was asked for feedback on these. What happens when the slots fill with snow and the weight of the packed snow tears them apart or causes bearing problems cause the tire isn't balanced. Or better yet, Mud and Rocks!
Road noise will be a tough hurdle; it's pretty hard to get something quieter than air. And what about efficiency if these things weigh more than traditional tires that will hurt mpg. Also handling will become an issue as well. But like kmfisher said, the slots will just be covered. They probably leave it open so people know what they're working with.

Non-pressurized would describe them more accurately than airless.

I'd much rather have these than my car's no-spare-tire situation (it seems the mfg eliminatedthe spare because it takes up too much room). Instead, the car has an air compressor that plugs into the cigarette lighter and a tube of puncture-repair gell.
Kinda makes me nervous . . .

That's because when driven properly, if you get a flat, your dead meat. Or maybe if you can afford that baby you can pay for roadside service.

I don't know how to finish that. But I must say, I disapprove.

Alot of the cars that are coming without a spare usually have run-flat tires on them. Up to 50 mph for 80 miles after it fails. Call me old fashioned, but I really can't stand not to have a spare.....

Most of your newer sports cars have run flats and do not carry a spare. There are even some soccer mom vans that also run on run flats and do not carry a spare. Did I just compare the Boxster to a mini van?

Man, I'd like to see the minivan you're talking about!
