I don't think Kuri meant that as a joke PaPa.

Kuri - They've been running interviews all day on NPR from Ms Parks and Daisy Bates. Stuff to remember, a very classy person.

It wasn't a joke. Ms. Parks displayed more courage than all the "patriots" in this current government ever dreamt of having.

That is a role model.

One of the best comic strips around.

I wonder how many people played OutKast's "Rosa Parks" today?

Anyone seen Barber Shop? Cedric the Entertainer's character makes a really good point about how lots of other people got arrested before her for doing the same damn thing. He goes so far as to call her nothing but lazy - "all that woman did was refuse to get off her ass!"

Still a noteworthy of act of defiance, imo, but nothing exceptionally unique.

Rosa Parks actually sued Outkast for using her name and identity to profit off the song - retarded, I think, to sue over first amendment use of a public figures name, but whatever...

That's why I inserted the rolling eyes; she wasn't a fan of the song.
