The MJ ones are SWEET! My favorite is the one where he makes fools of the entire NY Knicks team and then stuffs it on Ewing. (of course - yet another way Chi-town kicks NY's rotten stinking ass!).
Well the Bulls are actually pretty good this year and they're really young. They've got their core pretty much set, if they can just keep this group together for a couple years they'll have a good shot at a championship.

...more than can be said about the Knicks.
The whole city thing though I'd have to side with OldGuy.
OldGuy-
I highly doubt it. Eventhough Lebron is unhappy with his situation right now I highly doubt he'll be leaving the Cavs yet. Plus wasn't SHAQ headed the Knicks way this offseason? People just want to blow it up like Lebron isn't going to resign when we all know the Cavs are going to make him a rich (young) man.
I gotta say that I think the Bulls future is currently looking better than the Knicks. Unless the Knicks make some major off-season trades. The Bulls have high schoolers and guys who have been playing together and maturing for 2 and 3 seasons now. Its starting to show - teams like the Knicks are complaining about the Bulls being too physical, always a codeword for 'we're getting beat'.
Those Lynch hits were awesome. But blatantly illegal (he's leading with his head and it's down both times). After Darrell Stingley, I can see why the NFL wants to crack down on that. Lynch is one of those guys, like Favre, that you hate but would love if he were on your team. That being said, the Bears don't need him because they have one of the hardest hitting secondaries in the NFL. Now if they could just get a QB and left tackle. Can you tell I can't wait for football season to get started?
It is sad... with a venerable place like MSG, they need another championship team to go with it. Yeah, I actually just said that.
The Knicks were physical back then, and before them the Pistons. I remember Phil Jackson's quote about that when he was coaching the Bulls' championship runs: "If you have thoroughbreds, you run; if you have plough horses, you brutally push through. We have thoroughbreds." [he ws referring to Jordan/Pippen]
OldGuy:
I just realized the Cavs picked up their option on Lebron until the end of the '07 season. The Knicks problem is that they overpaid for the injury prone Allen Houston.
Kaiser:
Yeah I really like your DBs (Gray, Green, Peanut, and Vasher esp.) oh Todd Johnson too. Only 3 more days till the draft, and now the Lions don't have to pick up a receiver since we got Kevin Johnson!
About Lebron. Don't know how much the Nike contact is worth, and of course since they are still in the playoff picture they will deny, but should the lose tonight you may see a change.
Bears either since we got Muhsin Muhammad, our first real all-pro receiver in like a decade. But the Bears defense is too good to wait to build the offense by draft so it will be interesting. Talk has been about picking up Braylon Edwards, but the Bears are strong at WR - which means they'll probably draft him (history of drafting high for positions they are strong at - like WR or RB - and leaving postions they need help at - like O-line and QB).
Vasher is going to be special - to step up like that as a rookie. You forgot the other color (Mike Brown) who'll be back and healthy and is the biggest hitter in the secondary.
The Lions got Kevin Johnson?? That is a solid pickup for a 3rd WR. Hopefully he pans out a little better than Strets and Az and Schroeder did.

Regarding LeBron:
"The problem with journalism now days is that people write things based on rumors and innuendoes," Goodwin said. "If it doesn't come out of my mouth or LeBron James' mouth, it doesn't matter what anyone else says. He's addressed it and I've addressed it by saying there's not truth to it."
James addressed the issue following practice on Wednesday.
"The fans in the city of Cleveland have nothing to worry about at this point," James said. "I'm here."
-------------------------------------------------
I don't see LeBron going anywhere. We need to remember that while MJ's teams made the playoffs in each of his 1st 3 seasons, they were terrible and had a losing record each time. The Cavs just need to keep building around him, starting with bringing in another swingman who can shoot and complement his athleticism (ex- Redd, Wally). Ricky Davis could have helped, but they got rid of him.
K - I feel you, my brother is a Bears fan. Kind of funny actually. As for Vasher (or "The Interceptor" as Lovie Smith calls him), Roy Williams (Detroit's stud receiver) said he has been the best corner he's ever played with and he started playing his soph year of college at UT. So things only get better for him
jruck - as for Kevin Johnson, John Clayton announced it during a SC Draft Special this afternoon.
Oh and about the Lynch hits. I'll take the defensive because I'm a defense sort of guy, but...
The one against Dante Hall is clean, the league fined him cause it looks bad if you don't. I mean look at poor Dante Hall who weighs in at about 185 if he's lucky, and John Lynch comes over the middle and completely dimolishes him. If you look closely he leads with his shoulder on that.
The one against Dallas Clark though is definately illegal, but I don't think it warrents a $75,000 fine. If I had the time I'd find out how much Mandy Moss got fined for running over a traffic cop and having marijuana in his car and I can almost gaurantee it wasn't as much. (Or for an on the field incident, when Sapp blindsided Green Bay's center like 2 years ago.) Too bad Lynch didn't hit Marvin "I'll choke your kids if they ask for an autograph" Harrison like he did Dallas Clark.
It's all a matter of image, and also the name of the players that get punished. The NFL loves to fine players who make huge hits. (Rodney Harrison, John Lynch, etc.) At the same time the NFL changes the rules so you can barely look at a receiver without getting a penalty called on you. I don't like the direction the league is headed as you can tell, soon enough we'll be calling it the National Pansie League.
PS. Sorry for the ranting.
PPS. Lynch really shouldn't put his head down though, from a technical, POV because he can really hurt himself.

That's why very few of us have heard of Ron Mexico
Ninja- I take it that you find the irony in the fact that Ron Mexico's name cannot be found anywhere on espn.com.
I think the PTI guys talked about him for 1 minute the day the news broke, but that was it.
