I know it sounds silly but I think of myself as a character in a game and im trying level up by taking the proper nutrients and eating the right food combined with the perfect routine.

I know some of you might be in your 30's and think this is childish but it keeps me motivated.

puppet,
I'm in my fifties and I think it's a fantastic idea. The only difference is that in weight lifting, you get a real payoff and not just points. Whatever it takes to keep you in the gym; go for it.

I'm in my mid-forties and I think it's a pretty cool analogy. I might have to spend a little time on some gaming to get in the mood and then try that. (Actually, for me, that would be an excuse to do some gaming . . . )

Mahler's right: whatever keeps you going.

(Now I'm thinking of the traps, villians, penalties, etc that we encounter. We want to avoid those at all costs! And, we certainly don't want to get killed and end up back at the beginning.)
