im looking to look good for this summer, i'm working out, eating clean, but i dunno what to do with my chest hiar (im 15 so i dont have alot, but still) should i wax it? shave it ? and should i do this before or after tanning (tanning outside, naturally, not in a booth)
J/K, but I was wondering if guys are doing that now day...??? I know the girls are doing it and some guys shave their legs. I'm not judging, I'm just curious because I'm not in touch with what the current trend is.
Only pornstars shave down there, except for girls of course. The only guys I know that have shaved legs or arms etc. have done that because they are on the swim team and apparently it makes a big difference. So unless you are on the swim team, I say leave it the hell alone.
And Fender, you're 15 man! What would make you think of doing that?
PS. Have you even started shaving your facial hair yet?

Well, my daughter (who is 21, just to reference her peer group) came over tonight and she says that all her male friends either shave or at least trim everything. I had to ask how she knew this and she says that they talk about it pretty openly. Of course, all the girls are keeping "well groomed."
dude, you're 15, i'm 14 maybe its just me and maybe our maturity levels differ but ytf do you care about this? i'm sorry but i just find that u think way too much about things and that you should focus more on strength gains and lifting big instead of tryin to look like brad pitt. hell, i want to be like the guys in MLB (the ones that dont take steroids) and the powerlifters put together. i want to bench press 1.5x my weight and squat and dead 2x my body weight.
however, i've realized that hey, right now, my shoulders rolls forward, so i need to add a lot more rowing work and take away the chest and lat work and do special stretchs in order to fix this. you know what else i've found? i can only do 135 for reps on the deads. i can't do 200 at this time. same for squats. but i've come to realize that i can't always get the results i want right now. i have to work on them for years. that's why i haven't gotten discouraged that there's a better 1st baseman in our baseball program or that i can't bench my body weight. i know that if i work hard and make fitness part of my life and do it every time i plan to, i will reach my goals. same for baseball-if i practice and work my hardest, things WILL fall into place as God has planned them to.
so, you want to look like a model (its just a guess, but i was thinkin maybe brad pitt ) honestly, you're not going to be able to look like you want to right now. you have to work on it for years. if you do, eventually, you will get the results you want.
theres my 10 cents, my 2 cents is free

let me blunt about this man. you're 15 why not try to make fitness a part of ur life and not worry about modeling and just be a kid for a little while. take advantage of it...
Go check out the Men's Health forum, they post a lot about shaving and crap like that over there...

Kevin- (applauding) bravo!! You really sound like a mature young man. That is great to see that you have a good head on your shoulders and that you have things in perspective. I am sure with that type of attitude you will be able to accomplish all your goals. Best of luck on the journey.
Chest: Groom and maintain it if it is growing out of control, but if its not growing out of control just leave it alone, kinda sexy some times
HAPPY TRAIL: MUST HAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! too hot!
Your Boys and his friend: Clean that up! dont leave it untrimmed, or at least SHAVE IT. Most women these days PREFER THE SHAVED, for hygene and looks. If you trim it, trim it DOWNNNNNNNN real LOWWWWWWWWWWWW hair isnt an issue for men unless its on their back.
This is allergy season. I haven't been in short sleeves long enough to get around to shaving my arms, but I will soon.
I have middle-aged-man arm hair, which means it's longer and thicker than anything I have on my skull. And that shit attracts every allergen on the planet.
When I shave it off, I attract fewer allergens, and I make it a lot easier to wash off the ones I do get.
Chest hair: In summer, when I'm taking the kids to the pool every week, chest hair means having to spend five minutes rubbing sunscreen through the hair, while my kids are trying to jump in over their heads.
Without the hair, it takes seconds to put on the sunscreen.
I'm old enough to not really care much about the appearance of the hair--nobody looks at middle-aged guys anyway. I just don't see why I should deal with the problems it creates when it's much easier to shave it off once or twice a season.
