Watch KARK channel 4 News at 10 tonight. Yours truly will be on it discussing the Governor's new health initiatives and how long cultural changes like this actually take. Its pretty funny really. People are upset that a recent study puts us near the bottom again for our poor health in this state. These initiatives and other efforts are barely getting cranked up. I likened what is happening now to a freight train trying to stop. It takes a while to grind to a stop, and then reverse course, so expect things to continue to get a little worse before the changes start to take effect. They interviewed me for 30 minutes for a minute and a half segment, so who knows what will end up on the cutting room floor and what will air. We shall see!
Thanks Q... It will probably feature one of my flubs and make me look stupid! Actually the interview went really well. I don't even get nervous any more.
