I woke up this morning to 5* with the predicted high today of 6*. Hmmmmm and Jan. 2nd I start my new job which is an outdoors job. I may possibly need to have my head examined. ha!
24*? That's sitting outside in the lawn chair, enjoying a nice cool drink weather! ha! We've got 4" of old snow and we got another 2" last night. Of course since I'm in Iowa, by the time I get off work tonight I'm sure it'll be 85* with tornado warnings. Sheesh!
29F, high of 35F today, with 4-6" of snow on the ground and a tad more forecast for today. Yep, might break my own moratorium and run into the city
After getting a few inches of snow, sleet, and freezing rain yesterday, it's about 24 degrees. Might see a high of about 35. And the best part? More snow on Thrsday.

My thermometer in my truck this a.m. read 1-degree this morning.
I was just thinking how interesting (or miserable) it is to live in a place where it can hit 100+ in summer and less-than-zero in winter.

Yeah, we break out the thermals and heavy coats when it hits 60. It was 50 when I left my house for work and I thought I was going to freeze before the heater started working.

Little above freezing this morning and about 2-3 inches of snow here in the Baltimore suburb.

GR...east of you we have been sitting at single digits. This morning on the way to work it was 9 degrees. Yesterday morning it was -3 when I went to work.

Well, it was about 29F here when I woke up this morning, and we hit a high of 50F today. I gotta go buy more of fleece lined jeans from Eddie Bauer if this type of weather is going to keep up. Of course, I did decorate the outside of the house the after Thanksgiving in shorts, so I'm not complaining.
Then again, I'll probably be at home tomorrow seeing that the weatherman is prediciting a whopping 2" of snow to start falling some time tonight, tomorrow, tomorrow night, or Thursday. When it comes to snow around these parts, the weatherman is ALWAYS wrong! Sheesh! Now, since we've got the snow forecast, we'll probably start hearing about cancellations tomorrow and Thursday JUST IN CASE that snowfall happens. UGH! The grocery store will be completely out of everything we'll need. The prediction of snow makes EVERYONE go more than a little crazy!!

In all seriousness...it may not be super cold here, but wait until summer when it become 130 degrees on the flightline and I am stuck in a nomex flightsuit.

It's more interesting (or more miserable) in Winnipeg. We range from 100+ in the summer to -40 in the winter.
