I layed on it, its a really weird feeling when it inflates. The sides are solid, not like a regular mattress.

I have one and I think it is a pretty good bed. It is nice that you can raise it up to read or watch tv but I don't think it is worth the $4500 I paid for it.

slept on one of those at a hotel before... the fact that there's no spring to it is a bit weird. takes some getting used to, and you lose some spring in your hump, but...
