Exclamation

How many of you would buy items from a virtual store if my site carried sporting goods items, books, DVDs, T-shirts, sports apparel in general (shoes, clothes, sunglasses)?

I am working on some creative solutions to help reduce the monthly financial impact of this site, possibly even make a little money from it. I have to move it to a dedicated server by Jan, which will triple my expenses. The good news is that posting will go MUCH faster.

Interested in hearing your ideas.

Nick wants them in increasingly large sizes, JP, so that he will always have one as he goes through all his phases of swoleness ....

I'd probably have to redo my wardrobe hah that means like passing on a bunch of t-shirts and replacing them with JP Fitness t-shirts. I'd like one in grey, navy, green, red, and black please

Oh, and i'd definitely buy books and DVDs and stuff like that if its reasonably priced. I wouldn't mind spending few extra bucks on a book to help the forum out. I owe ya anyway Supplements would be cool too. Oh! and i could use a foam roller and chinning bar as well

Case in point: I'm in

I just bought a Cross Fit tee shirt because I wanted to give something back for all the free information. I'd buy your junk for sure. One question, will it be here in time for holiday giving?

I'd buy the JP branded stuff and maybe some of the clothes but shoes and things like that I like to purchase differently.

I'll get something or two or three. I'd be in shock if someone in my gym said "hey cool - I'm on the JP site all the time" - it would be a good shock . Maybe I can start a trend and they'll visit the site to buy the t-shirt and other people would and others and pretty soon it will start a virtuous cycle - I get goose bumps just thinking about it.

I would definatly buy a t-shirt or two and would shop at a JP fitness online store for a lot of stuff.

Its kind of like elitefts.com. They give out a ton of info and also have a store. If they have a product I want I will buy from them to support them. If you guys carried the products I want I would definatly buy from you to support the site.

I won't need to do any processing, but thanks for offering.

Well, this is good news. I wish I could get it up in time for the Xmas rush, but it will probably have to wait till January.

I will probably start off with a really basic offering, but once I get a sense of what everyone wants to buy I can expand the offering.
