Default What to do when planks and prone cobras are no longer difficult?

I'm going through my second round of the program, in stage 2. The specified time in this stage for these exercises is 60-90 seconds, I think, but I am holding them 2 minutes. Should I work on increasing time, or are there modifications to make the exercises more difficult? Thanks!

yay! thanks for the link missjane! The "wall march" looks ridiculous.

I've been doing plank for years and also need something a little more challenging.

I recently tried doing plank on the swiss ball, and holy hell, that was challenging enough! Can't wait to see what happens when i try these others...

In the book there are some suggestions for making plank more difficult first by using a swiss ball and bench and then by lifting one leg.

For cobra I tried lifting my legs, not sure if that is the best thing, but that's all I could think of.

I think I'm gonna try those. I'll let you know how stupid I feel when I can't do them!

Do you have access to a TRX system? You can do some killer ab exercises with that - even a VERY unstable plank!
