Default I'm Really Shaky

Hi Everyone,

I just finished my 8th Stage 1 A workout (so 15th workout total) and I am really shaky. I was able to increase my squat weight today from 105 to 115 and my seated row from 90 to 95. I also increased my step-up to 2*30 from 2*25 and I found that the prone jacknife was especially hard because my arms were so weak from holding the heavier weights for step-ups. Now that my workout is done, I can barely hold up my arms to type.

Has anyone else experienced this before? I mean, I have been sore from working out, but this is different. I found it difficult to drive back to work from the gym...

yeah there were times that my body was jello afterwards, especially when I really pushed myself. Eat good and take a load off, and just think of all the DOMS you'll have tomorrow!

Did you fuel your workout properly?
Were you dehydrated?

I remember leaving swim practice in high school and barely being able to turn the steering wheel on my (non-power steering) car.

It happens. Maybe the increases were too significant all at once.

Hey there, I get the "shakes" after some of my more intense workouts as well, and from what other's say this appears normal. For me this always happens when I workout in the am, and I'd gander that it has to do with how I fuel my workouts, i.e. 2 scrambbled eggs and coffee which may not be enough for that kind of output.

Usually when this happens I start drinking my shake or eating my post-workout breakfast right away (sometimes even while changing in the locker room - gross I know) since I just assumed that it was related to blood sugar or something like that. But at any rate, eating and drinking water usually helps.

Also a comment on arm/wrist pain due to holding heavy weights - I hate that!! But your arms/wrists will get stronger too, so hang in there!

I worked out about 45 minutes after a huge lunch (24g protein) and my breakfast had (26g protein). Right after I had a frozen yogurt with about 15 chopped almonds. I drink TONS of water all day long but it was extreamly hot yesterday so maybe that had something to do with it.

Actually, this morning I am pretty sore. I haven't really felt this sore since the very first workout. I think I just really pushed myself yesterday, which is a good thing. I made sure to get plenty of sleep last night...
