Default working out while still sore

I just started New Rules for Women on Sunday. I completed 1A on Sunday and 1B on Tuesday. I am sore from Tuesday, not terribly, but just enough to know I worked those muscles. Previously I was taught not to work muscle groups while they are sore. I planned to do 1A tomorrow but am concerned because I know I will be working some of the same muscles. Is it ok go ahead and do it or should I wait until there is no soreness? I appreciate any help. Thanks, Susan

You'll be fine. It often makes people feel better. Increasing blood flow, working out the lactic acid, using the muscles and not having them stiffen and get sore.
I mean, I've been so sore that a workout is impossible, but if it's minor, it's not a problem.
Also, that's why the program alternates between an A and B workout.

Welcome.

be sure to warm up first. i hop on the elliptical for 10 minutes and by the time i get to weight room i feel sore-free enough to do a good work out. if your still in the "omg i can't walk stage" you might want to hold off for another day. i did that for the first few work outs of stage 1, but i was new to all of the lifts and had never tried heavier weights before.
