Default Advice for athlete starting fall season

Hey Ya'all,
So I've stated in some of my posts that I play competitive amateur soccer. Sept 9 is the start of the fall season, which usually runs until late November and I'm just trying to figure out how to proceed with NROL4W.

I'm finishing Stage 1 this week and was planning on taking next week off before the start of soccer season - I'm really looking forward to this btw

While in season I play soccer 3x a week for 2 hours each and this can be quite taxing on my body, especially on my knees and back. I was thinking of proceeding with stage 2 by lifting 2x a week. But looking ahead, stage 2 looks pretty darn challenging. The other idea I was tossing about was doing stage 6 while in season, which I think works mostly with body weight and thus "appears" gentler on the joints etc., and then moving back into stage 2 and going from there until Spring season starts.

Maybe I'm just wussing out and over thinking this, but i don't want to overextend myself as I know this will inevitably lead to me getting sick or injured.

Anyways, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Veronica
