Default Acceptable Substitute to SwissBall Crunches & Lat Pulldown in a pinch?

Need to do workout B today. I've got dumbells at home but no swissball (planning on buying one but for the immediate moment not an option). And no machine for the pulldowns.

Something else I can do?

Or should I skip those two and add 2 exercises from Workout A and then work the crunchs and pulldown when I do Workout A next time? well, specifically can I substitute the squat or bent over row (i do the bent over row instead of the seated row) from Workout A.

Do DB pullovers, as the book suggests and do crunches on the floor.

In general I'd say put a rolled towel under you for the crunches, you'll get that extra rom they were going for by putting you on the ball.
I'd personally do the pullovers on the floor, not on a bench, so that if you happen to have a mishap you don't rip your arm out of your socket (which I've done).

Goodness that sounds painful! Thanks for the warning I do have a mini swissball, a balance ball thing I guess, somewhere around here. Maybe that would be better than a towel even...?

Thanks both of you.
