Step-ups: NROL4W vs NROL
I know there are a ton of threads on step-ups so please forgive any redundancy.
I just started NROL after finishing NROL4W. In the "for women" version the step-up instructions say to brush the step with the non-working leg and then return to the starting position. In "the original" the instructions say to place the non-working leg onto the step, then lower it til it brushes the floor.
Just wondering about the reasons for the different descriptions. They do seem to be somewhat different exercises. IMO the 4W version emphasizes the ascent while the original emphasizes the descent.
