I just drink my water watch tv stretch a little but mostly just catch my breath. I just reread the section missjane mentioned and it says to stop all together.

K reread it. So to confirm, if level 5 is my "easy" level that's the level I do steady state or can i go up from there as long as I keep the level the same? And it doesn't say how long you can do steady state. as much as we want? Sometimes I want to stay extra just to finsih whatever show i'm watching

He does say somewhere that you can get back on and do steady state for as long as you want. I wouldn't worry too much about your level; the point is to make it aerobic endurance-type exercise as opposed to anaerobic. So, keep your heart rate lower.

Can't remember the reference right now, but somewhere I read a good scale: easy is you can sing while you are doing it; moderate is you can carry on a conversation, but not sing; and hard is you can't talk at all. Keep it moderate.
