Default Romanian Deadlift/Bent-Over Row

Hey, everyone!
I just started Stage 3 this week and am doing the B workout tonight. I was wondering if someone could point me to a video showing a barbell Romanian deadlift/bent-over row. I searched the forums here but wasn't able to find anything. The other exercise I am unsure of is the YTWL, so if anyone has a link to a video of that, I'd appreciate it as well, but I'm going to try searching for it as I think that one has been discussed a good bit.
As a side note, the bodyweight matrix following Workout A was a beast!! I was already pretty pooped from the workout, so putting the matrix at the end seemed like cruel punishment--in a good way, though! My first run-through took me about 4 min., 20 sec. to complete...way too long in my opinion, but I'll try to improve it. My second run-through was a little quicker, I think around 3 min., 50 sec.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to jumping into Workout B today. I've been lifting for 7 years or so, but the workouts in this book have kept me on my toes and continuing to push myself! They've been a lot more challenging than I expected, which is great!
Thanks in advance for any guidance!

The RDL/Row is just a combo move. You know how to do an RDL, right? Just do one, and when at the bottom of the move, throw in a row. Rinse and repeat.

Congrats on getting through the body matrix! I'm doing Stage 3, Workout A1 tomorrow and I keep thinking to myself, sure, I can squat, I can jump, it won't be too hard. I just don't want to admit how difficult it's going to be!! Especially after a workout.

You'll be ok! Just take your time with it. I had to take breaks every so often, so my goal now is to decrease my breaks as I move on through the stage.

Default Quick YTWL Q

Hey, guys!
Quick question about YTWL as I wasn't clear on it from reading the text. In Stage 3B it says to do YTWL for 3x6. Does this mean I do 6 reps of Y, into 6 reps of T, into 6 reps of W, into 6 reps of L, and that constitutes first set? Or is it 1 rep Y, into 1 rep T, into 1 rep W, into 1 rep L, then repeat 5 more times for the first set?
I really appreciate any assistance as I've read the text several times but just can't figure out which is the correct format!
Thank you!

it's definitely 6 of each letter with no rest between letters, then rest. That's one set. And don't be surprised if you end up dropping the weight all the way down to 5lbs. It's 24 reps per set when you think about it. A killer move!

or 2 lbs or even empty hands depending on if you've had shoulder issues.

For sure! When I see people logging 12 lbs for the YWTL's, I think there is no way they are doing them right! I remember reading an article where Alwyn took a couple thru one of his workouts and the guy was saying how those YWTL's killed him with 5 lbs!

it's very humbling though, I found. I like lifting heavy. I like seeing people get surprised when I reach for the big weights. But to go reach for those 5lb weights felt a little embarrassing. until I did it. Then I didn't care, cuz the burn was insane!

Hahaha. That reminds me of a story a coworker of mine told me. She was foam rolling her IT band in the gym one day and some huge guy sort of snickered and made a sarcastic comment about how that must be really hard, just rolling on the floor. So she said "you try it" and he did, and he was about screaming in pain!

Don't knock it till you try it.

I made it to 8# for the YTWL, but just barely. The 8# weights in my gym are red, coated with plastic or rubber or something. I keep thinking about the pink Barbie weights statement. These are red, though, ok! With 8#, I barely make it through, I'm sweating, grunting, huffing and puffing, and eeking out that last milimeter to the finish. I'm sure it's a sight. But, as was said, just let anyone who thinks it's comical come give it a try!
