I suggest that you post away with recipes and such in the existing healthy eating forum. You might be surprised at the response that you get - every omnivore eats non-meat items.
I don't really get why you'd be afraid of the forum because it has non-veggie recipes in it. Kinda putting your head in the sand a bit, no? People eat meat, nothing wrong with that, and a separate forum would just be more clutter and redundancy for the sake of not having any more use. I mean… I'm sure Curves seemed like a good idea when it started, but … meh.

True. It's just that for me, when I go to look up recipe ideas I end up sorting through a lot of things that aren't appropriate for my diet since the meat items outnumber the veg ones. There is the odd smoothie or homemade protein bar, but not many main courses.

I dunno. I just saw that the TNT folks had their own recipe forum so they can easily find recipes to suit their needs and thought maybe veg folks could use something similar. If I'm in a minority though it's no big deal.
FatFreeVegan - good recipes, just add your own fat. This was a hugely active list 10 years ago (also FF vegan) - but the archives are still available and still have good recipes.
The Messinas (Mark & Virgina) are good source of science re: eating vegan or vegetarian. I guess Ginny has put out more recipes in recent years than when I was vegan.

Some folks are training for strength and others for endurance (i.e. some of these recipes are really carb-heavy) but there are lots of recipes to chose from!
You can also go look at Robert Dos Remedios' forum (don't have the URL but you can search). He is a college strength coach & vegan. I don't know if they have recipes because it isn't a vegan forum but I know he IS vegan.

Oh! Cool. I've heard his name around here but I didn't know he was a vegan and hadn't really looked into his work. Thanks for that.
I second (or third?) the comment on non-veggies eating veggie food. Although my family and I aren't vegetarian, I've severely reduced our meat intake over the past couple years. I'm always looking for tasty vegetarian dishes.
Also, stop it already with the quark comments!!! LOL! When I lived in Germany, quark was a staple. It's so hard to find it here. The time or two I've had it, I had to mailorder it!! I miss it. Maybe it will catch on. Fage yogurt is a decent substitute, although I don't know if it would work in recipes. When I started buying Fage, it was still imported from Greece. It seemed odd to me to be buying yogurt that was coming all the way from Greece. Now, the same company has production in the US!
I did a little bit of research and I think quark is sold as "pressed cottage cheese" at some Canadian grocery chains. I'll have to try it out, maybe make a lasagna or something.
ok, I am just not gonna get to finding the recipes any time soon. but when I do I'll prolly make them gewgle spreadsheets so that they're easier for me to find in the future.
So, I need to put my two cents in, about greek yogurt.
It is not hard to make!
Just take normal yogurt, put it in a coffee filter (I use a reusable metal one), and let it sit overnight in the fridge. Come morning you will have nice thick yogurt (and a little puddle of water underneath the filter).
I find that a quart of normal yogurt makes a cup or so of greek yogurt.
Nica movie: Craig Ballantine talking about High protein vegetarian and vegan foods and meals (watch your ears though, sound is a bit nasty).

I also eat mainly vegan and find it difficult to work out how to get enough protein. One of the things I use a lot is seitan, because it has 26 g of protein per 100 g and is very low fat/low carb. I make chili with the seitan crumbles and kidney beans - yum!
