Default Deadlift

Week 2 day one......I did the deadlifts today with what I thought was good form but my low back is quight sore!! I did 2 sets of 15 with 20lb plates on each side.....does this sound right to anyone?

If you used the 7-foot barbell, that alone is 45 pounds. Add 40 more, and that's a lot of weight; are you a beginner weightlifter? Some women can lift that right off, I can't, and I've been lifting a while. Also, if your spinal erectors are weak, you'll be sore there. Just make sure your form is right; if so, and your weight is not too high, you're fine. You'll work through the soreness.

Thanks!! I used to lift...nothing crazy but i felt strong, but that was well over a year ago. I started with just 15lbs on each side and that seemed too easy my legs are not sore from the 20s either but ill stick with them for a while because I need to work on my grip strength.
