Hi,
I do my workouts before work (630am) and I eat some fruit, H20 and a shake prior to working out. Then I'll eat my breakfats. seems to work well for me..

I eat something small before going to the gym and then come home and have a protein shake.

I usually just eat a small handful of raw nuts and drink whatever part of my shake doesn't fit in my bottle to take to the gym. I tried forcing myself to eat more but it just ends up making me feel worse. After I drink my shake. I usually don't feel hungry for breakfast til 10 or 10:30 on workout days.

I workout very early (starting around 4:30am usually) so I either have something really light like a banana or nothing at all. When I get home, I have a yogurt with protein powder and a bowl of oatmeal made with milk.

I tend to do this unless I'm heading to the gym after about 8am.

I have had this question as well. I am on workout 4 of stage 1, and I workout three days a week, but not at the same times, due to my schedule. If I work out early enough, I just have a shake before, but then, should I also have my after workout shake? And then breakfast? If I eat a light snack before the workout, does that count as one of my two daily snacks? Otherwise I end up eating like this: shake, (workout), post-workout shake, breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, which is 7 times! And seems like shake/shake/breakfast is three eat times within just a couple of hours. It seems like too much. I haven't figured out a good way to coordinate the eating with the early morning workout yet.
