Default Getting started

I'm trying to get started using NROLW. It took quite some time figuring out the the Workouts and still am not sure if I have it right. In Stage 1 "Workout A" Exercise A just says "Squat" (this is pg 140 in the book). There are 4 different squat exercises pg 157-163, i.e. barbell squat, partial single leg squat, alternative to the partial single leg squat, & dumbell single arm overhead squat. Which squat exercise is it referring to?

Likewise in Stage 1 Workout B Exercise A (pg 141) just says Deadlift, but there are 4 deadlift exercises in the book.

Weight loss/gain happens in the kitchen. Keep your diet in check and you'll be fine.
