Default Any cardio recommendation for NROL4W?

I am halfway through my Stage 1 of NROL4W. I do workouts in a week and I am usually done in 35-40 minutes. I don't see any difference in my body weight yet. Pants are still as tight as they were before, but I do see difference in my arms - am wearing sleevless today and it looks good
My question is should I be doing any cardio. Before I started on this program, I was just doing cardio. And from the time I started on the stage 1, I have stopped doing any cardio. May be that is the reason I haven't seen any weight loss yet??

You're talking a short amount of time. How much in the way of results do you expect to see? You're at what, 3 weeks?

Weightloss isn't about your workout, be it including or not cardio. It's about what you eat and what you burn. And what you burn the other 23 hours of the day far outweighs any amount of work you're gonna do during your workout, for the most part.

So, are you eating less than you expend? Are you weighing your food and tracking your calories, or are you winging it?
What's the rest of your day outside of your workout look like? Are you up and moving doing chores, moving around, walking about, etc; or are you on your bum not doing much?
That's gonna account for your weightloss. If you're not eating less than you expend. And if you are, then there's a matter of time.

Did you read the book? There's a chapter called something like "Extra stuff to do" or something like that.

And, Aoife hit the nail on the head. This is all about your diet, not so much your workout.

Aoife, yes I just finished 3rd week. I am 5'5'' and 148 pounds. Used to be 142 for longtime but then gained few pounds in Dec/Jan and just cardio wasn't helping so started on this program. Would like to lose about 10 pounds, and make that round belly flatter.
I have a desk job and I am not into any sports. After work I do move around, do chores etc. No, I haven't tried to cut down on my diet. As don't eat non-veg much, I have added milk-protein shake to my diet since I started on this program. I usually try to eat 5 healthy meals (including morning and afternoon snacks). I will try to take a closer look at my calorie intake.

Jane: I have read the book, I will read the chapter that you mentioned one more time and see what is suggested there.

I'm doing 20 minutes of somewhat intense biking 2x a day (to work and back) and holding ground (on the scale, although it feels like the weight is starting to distribute differently).
I don't know if I would necessarily recommend this though -- my butt is getting kind of angry at me. In addition to the biking I'm doing moves like deadlifts and step-ups all the time at work, and the upshot of this is that last night I couldn't face my lifting workout. Same as last week, I'm getting in 2 when I want to do 3.
I'd say if you're going to do it, try to switch up what you're doing cardio-wise or your muscles might get over-taxed.

Have you calculated your daily caloric needs? Are you eating the proper foods to meet those needs exactly - without going over -, and are you eating at least 5 times a day?
If you're not eating correctly, all the cardio in the world isn't going to help you loose weight.
