Question another question on the dreaded Matrix

I'm currently doing stage 3 (just finished A3 on Friday) do I've done the matrix 3 times so far.
My question is are my times supposed to be improving? Or are we simply timing for the rest period and personal curiousity?

just FYI my times were:
A1 : 2:24, 3:20
A2 : 2:45, 2:44
A3 : 3:00, 3:24
it kinda looks like I'm not improving, although I'm still feeling a good burn from this exercise and I am getting air between my jumps. I can only manage about 3 or 4 jumps before I need to rest for 1 or 2 seconds, but i am lifting off the ground.

What are everyone else experiences with this?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the links. I've read through them, and absolutely loved Natalia's video. Someday I hope to be able to do it like that.
SO everyone seems to say that their times are generally improving. I wonder why mine aren't then? Maybe I'm improving my form so it's taking me longer cuz I'm going a little lower than the first time?
Thanks!
