Default Could someone critique my workout log....

I'm finding myself unable to do the interval training directly after lifting and I just wanted to see if the way I've set-up my workouts is ok....

M: HIIT
T: Rest
W: Group Power (weight lifting class)
R: Kick Boxing
F: NROL workout
S: HIIT
S: NROL workout

I'm pretty sure somewhere in NROL4W (I assuming you mean NROL4W and not NROL since you posted int he NROL4W forum) it's stated to not do HIIT on the day immediately following a workout. Don't have my book with me, so I'll have to look it up tonight if you can't find it in there.

Did it state why? I could see not doing it the day before a workout, because it will tax you to the point of compromising your lifts, but after?

I have to look it up when I get home. I think it's in the "extra stuff to do" section.

Or.....I could be talking out my ass.

So would this also mean lfiting in the morning and HIIT in the evening would be incorrect?

I like to get things done, but I'm not sure right out of bed into HIIT is going to be that easy. Or Coordinated.

Yes...NROL4W....that's why I was asking...the book says to not do interval training/HIIT the day after doing a workout that includes interval training. But if I'm not doing the interval training following the workout, I'm thinking it would then be ok? I know if I pushed myself, I could do it, but I also think I could work a lot harder if I did them on different days, rather than one right after the other.

Well, talk away. It's polite to look at a person while they are speaking.
