If you are almost finished with stage 1, have you not seen any results yet?

Are you basing this on the number on the scale? I wouldn't rely on that to determine whether you are actually getting smaller. Have you measured yourself? Are your clothes fitting better?

Look at this thread for proper DL form:

CT workout - This Sunday

Stage one, for me, took longer than that once the sets increased. If I remember correctly, Stage 2 takes much longer.

As for your weight, how's your diet? Are you weighing/measuring/counting every calorie? Remember, weight loss happens in the kitchen, not the gym.

losing weight comes from eating at a deficit, not from your workout. Your workout builds muscle, increases your activity, and increases your caloric burn so that you could eat more at the same deficit, but it's your actual deficit that lets you lose weight.

It's all really about calories in and calories out. Since you've not been wanting to get crazy about dealing with your eating, you're more likely to not see the loss you want. It can be done, but many find it just doesn't happen till they start doing that counting and weighing and measuring.

You have no idea what you're really eating, be it at, under, or over what it takes to maintain you weight. So you have no idea where to go from here.

The solution is in front of you. Up to you whether you want to do it, or not. But it is there.

Don't judge your workout by the time it takes to do it. If you don't feel wiped out afterwards, you're not working hard enough. Whether it's 10 minutes or 2 hours.

I am just about to finish Stage 1 also. I am losing weight but I started the Eat Clean diet. I know, it is crazy how fast this workout is. It was a big challenge for me to not think I need to do 10 different things instead of 5. I think it gets longer and harder though. Those jackknifes... Do they even do anything? The upcoming intervals look easy too. I had been doing 1 min rest with 2 mins full throttle before for 30 mins on the stair mill before. I cannot do intervals on the treadmill. I start messen with those buttons and bust my tail...
I must not be doing the deadlift right though... You bend your knees or keep legs straight?

See this thread for jackknifes. Do yours look like the video in this thread? Jackknifes are HARD...unless you have an amazing core.

Clarification on jackknife on swiss ball

Intervals are NOT easy. If they are, you aren't pushing yourself hard enough. See this thread: HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) for stage 2 vid

Did you read the thread linked above that has great videos of deads? CT workout - This Sunday

Well, I think I am doing the jackknife right. I have had trainers watch... I think that thingie you hang from by your arms and lift your legs into a pike is harder... Some people lift their knees to chest (think that is a tuck?) My intervals on stairmill are 1 min at level 4 then 2 mins at level 12. Not easy but I can do anything for 2 mins I guess. Mentally it is easier cause I know it will be over soon.

All I know is that I was doing crazy weight workouts I found in Oxygen 3x a week (took me an hour to get thru the 10 exercises) followed with 30 mins of stair mill intervals on M,W, F combined with another hour of cardio (spin class) on the other 3 days (Tues, thur,Sat.) burning about 3500 calories a week. Killing myself and was no longer losing weight or getting that much stronger. Took a week off before I started this and had good results. Even took 5 days in middle of Stage 1 cause my infant and toddler got a stomach virus and had more good results. I am a believer in rest now.
