Default Newbie- Couch to 5k plus NROLFW?

Hi All!
I just did my first workout today. I LOVED it- it hurt so good! I am debating also starting the Couch-to-5k program. I know that this is really individual, but is this an acceptable thing to do on my rest days, if I alternate walking with very mild jogging? Or should I do the C25k workouts on the same day as my NROLFW workouts? I don't want to overtrain.
Any thoughts?

I don't have the answer to this, but I have the same question. I did the couch to 5-K once before and really loved it. I want to get back into doing it but not if it is going to interfere with weightlifting...

I'd be interested in opinions on this as well. Next week I'll finish Stage 1. I've been doing C25k after my workouts MWF. But I hit the wall at week 5. Monday I did 5.3.5.3.5 run/walk. And Wed did the 8min jog but didn't have the stamina to finish the workout. Today I was too sore to try to tackle it again. Did weights and walked on the TM for about 20mins. I think I over did it, I'm signed up for a Triathlon in June and I'd like to do it!

Hi,
As a non-runner, I trained from couch to 10k for a run here in Brisbane (I think the training program was about 10 weeks). I kept doing the NROL4W, but ended up dropping down to one lifting session a week after about the 5week mark, mainly due to having to run three times a week and walk once. I just couldn't fit it all in.

If you're already in decent shape I think you could do both programs at the same time.
