Default Are Instructions Correct? Stage 7

I am confused about the wording of the Stage 7 workouts. The workouts all appear to look the same on paper. They to open with either squats, a superset of bench presses and rows, or deadlifts and follow with four moves (exercises) that are alternating sets. However, the book indicates that "once you're past the opening exercise or exercies, you'll rotate just two different sets of exercises."
Does that mean that:
a) I select just two of the four alternating exercises listed?
b) these instructions are not correct?
c) I need help understanding what is written?
I've searched to see if this has been addressed but didn't see anything quickly. Thanks.
