Default stage 1 muscle soreness, whats up with my shoulders?

I've just finished stage 1 workout B and found that my shoulder strength seems to be weaker, in that in the first workout i did 2 x 15 with 5kg, but today I could only manage 2 x12 4kg. In contrast my legs are getting stronger and I can lift heavier with them. Has anyone else had this problem? I can only assume my shoulders felt weaker today because I did proper deadlifts with an OLY bar instead of dumbells and really felt it when i went on to the shoulder presses.

dixiechick, i know i have trouble with stability (or something) on the shoulder presses. i want to lean waaay back and i have to force myself to tighten my glutes and abs and stand upright instead of arching my back. they're hard!

You'll prolly see slight variances like that as you go along. A lot of things factor into your strength a given day, including what you've done recently to fatigue the muscles and how you're eating and sleeping, what time of day, etc.
That's not too much variance, really.

Agreed. Unless you notice a trend over a few workouts, you probably should chalk it up to random conditions. I'd suggest being more concerned with the intensity you're lifting the weights you are lifting vs the amount of weight you're not.
