Default protein in stage 7?

I was wondering whether all the same nutrition theories apply in a fat-burning stage like stage 7 (which, btw, ow!). I'm not really interested in changing my calories or nutrient profile, just wondering ... For example what role does all the protein play when trying to burn fat? I know I'm trying to simultaneously keep muscle, but it seems logical that that might not take as much as building it.

Thoughts?

I don't really know of an answer for you... I'll let the people who've been at this much longer than me answer that for ya (though my guess is that protein is still uber important). However... I will 100% agree with you on the OUCH factor of stage 7!!!! I had my first stage 7 workout yesterday morning and by last night was starting to feel some tightness kicking in.... then this morning came and it was difficult to get out of bed... worst DOMS I've had since stage 1!!! I'm glad though... it means things have been kicked up a notch. I personally changed my diet a bit to cut some cals because while I've made strength gains thus far, my fat seems to have no budged. So that's what I'm workin on personally, but I'm sure everyone will have something different to say.
